Here's a little glimpse into a part of my skin care routine.
I would describe my skin care routine as rather... inconsistent. But here are a few products I use and a few things I've been doing to take care of my skin throughout the years
Make Up Remover
Now this step is so veryvery important every single day.
I'm currently using a water based make up remover, Bioderma, to be exact.

It costs around SGD$40 for a 500ml bottle from Watsons but this remover is simply amazing. My sister and I bought like 10 bottles when we were in London because it was half the price last year hahaha
I personally prefer water based make up removers because it's honestly a lot less messier than oil based ones and also because I have rather sensitive eyes and oil based removers have a tendency to sting my eyes much more than water based ones do.
A quick fix if for whatever reason you run out or just don't have make up remover with you is to make some. All you need is Olive Oil and water, mix 1 third of Olive Oil and 2 thirds of Water, mix them together well before each use and viola.
Olive Oil does wonders for your skin and removes make up extremely extremely well so that's something I always fall back on all the time.
DIY Olive Oil and Honey Scrub
I usually exfoliate my skin twice or thrice a week mainly to unclog pores because I have extremely stubborn and annoying pores that just love torturing me.
But exfoliating your skin has so many more benefits apart from just unclogging pores
I used to use face scrubs from Himalayas but eventually as they ran out, I switched to making them myself because it's cheaper, more convenient, has less chemicals and you can switch it up anytime to suit your skin's needs.
For this particular scrub, all I do is mix Olive Oil with Honey and Sugar.
The consistency should be thick but not watery or dry. If it's too watery, it'll be real messy and if it's too dry, it'll be rather rough on your tender skin.
I usually mix around half a table spoon of Olive Oil, 1 table spoons of honey and 1 packet of sugar.
Sheet Masks
The perfect time to use a sheet mask is after exfoliating because your pores will be open and will thus be able to absorb more from your mask.
I usually do this at night right before sleeping. I would mask for around 15 minutes before removing the sheet mask and going to bed. I won't wash the mask's moisture off my face though it may be a little sticky, but it's honestly worth it because I always wake up feeling amazing.
All in all, I would remove my make up, cleanse my face, exfoliate and then mask.
A sheet mask brand I would recommend is My Beauty Diary [AD]

I've been using My Beauty Diary masks for 5 years now from Facebook shops days to Scape fleas days, I've always been using My Beauty Diary masks because of their affordability as well as quality.
You'll probably recognize this packaging if you've experimented with sheet masks before

Now here's a new packaging you may find unfamiliar... My Beauty Diary has launched a new and improved formula with various enhanced features and improvements made to their masks over the years and I'm definitely loving their new packaging

What I don't understand is why.
Why would someone want to drop so low as to steal a phone that barely even carries any value at all...
It makes so sense to me.
I just don't understand.
Honestly, I ain't sad about losing the phone.
But I'm just really bothered. Why would someone do that? That person took away a part of me. It's just a spare phone. It's monetary worth is so low but what it has is my life. My memories. Which this person is probably going to spend maybe 20 bucks to reformat and erase. Delete my life. She stole a part of my life.
I don't delete photos. I can never delete photos. I save the majority of my snapchats and my phone memory is almost always full because of that but I can never delete photos because deleting them just feels like I'm deleting away the memories. So you get it right? This person didn't just steal my phone this person stole my friendships my relationships my happiness. It's all gone just like that.
All my whatsapps and texts....
Why would she want to do this for such a tiny sum of money?
She's a girl with feelings too isn't she? She should know the significance of a phone in a girl's life. If it were an IPhone I would get it but it isn't even a Samsung or a Sony it isn't even LG or Nokia. IT'S A FREAKING HTC.
But why does it not surprise me that this happened at Cineleisure...
I can't even...
I filed a stolen phone report with Orchard police station almost immediately so they're basically investigating right now but I doubt they'll get back to be with anything at all.
I couldn't sleep last night.
That.... girl.
My babygirl Letrice's phone got stolen last month too but I think her scenario is way worse. She got pick pocketed in China and as though a barely 1 month old IPhone wasn't enough, those horrible people tried to steal even more from her. They created a replica of Apple's email accounts and what not and freaking contacted her trying to get her to send them account details. That's just disgusting. Those people aren't suitable to be labelled as people, they're animals. Not human beings.
Why do people like that even exist?
I swear I was so close to losing it yesterday. I was so enraged and I'm just so glad that I could keep all that anger in and not lash out at basically anyone or anything within a 1 meter radius from me then.
Because I just can't come up with a reason to move on with.
Why would she do that?
Instead of just I don't know, working for just a week? How do you live with yourself...
She ruined my evening, she ruined my night, I couldn't sleep, I had a shoot the next day and I was so dead tired. Even right now. It's 2am and here I am trying to find someway to locate my lost device and come up with some understandable reason as to why this girl would do this to me...
Bitch you stole from me so personally. It doesn't get anymore personal than this. Thanks for making my day. I hope you have a good damn week shopping with the little filthy cash you make from selling away a part of me.
Urgh I hate you so much.

Asience isn't a new brand to the majority of us and isn't a new brand to my blog as well.
They are a leading hair care brand in Asia with their amazing products that never cease to amaze me.
Recently, they have launched a new formula for their hair care line!
Here's what they sent me this time to pamper my fried hair with
Here is the Asience Inner Rich Shampoo & Conditioner 480ml set
In their new reformulation, these products include a special beauty serum which contains the concentrated infusion of Argan Oil, Camelia Oil,
Pomegranate Extracts, Rose, White Pearl and Lemongrass essences. It is designed to penetrate into your
hair shaft, repairing from within, giving your hair the three key signs of youthful vitality- softness, shine and
smoothness.
I personally love that there is Argan Oil and Camelia Oil in their formula because just like the famous Olive Oil and Coconut Oil, it really does wonders for your hair and can even be used alone as a concentrated hair mask which is what I usually do once or twice a month or even weekly when I bleach my hair.
Here's what you can find around leading supermarkets, western pharmacies and personal care stores since Janurary this year
Asience Inner Rich – For dry, frizzy and unmanageable hair

Asience Inner Rich shampoo, conditioner and treatment care range that gives you all-day moisture that your

Asience Nature Smooth – For oily scalp and tangled ends

Asience Nature Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner

S$ 7.95 (200ml)
The Asience Nature Smooth range resolves your hair issues of having an oily scalp and yet dry and tangled

finish.
One mega plus point for me when using Asience products is that it smells amazing!!! I love how my hair smells after washing it with my new shampoo and conditioner thanks to Asience and also, their new formula. This new formula definitely works well for my tortured hair and I don't look forward to them getting used up hahaha
Shampoo and conditioner aside, they also have a separate treatment tube in their new formula which I am definitely going to purchase when my current tub of hair mask runs out

Asience Inner Rich Treatment Care
S$ 12.90 (180ml)
Asience Nature Smooth
Treatment Care
S$ 12.90 (180ml)
My hair is rather fried again now because my lil hair dyeing adventures with all the different colours I've had in the past few months hahaha here's what I mean
This is how neglected hair looks like.
What you can do though, is treat your hair. Ensure that the shampoo and conditioner in your hair care routine is one that works well with your type and also, add in hair masks or treatments into your routine to feed your hair some proteins and nutrients that it lost during the bleaching process
And your hair will love you back :)
But why is Asience so special? This portion wasn't sent to me in their press release for this post but I did also blog about this in my previous post about their hair mask which I absolutely loved.

So what differentiates Caucasian hair from asian hair?
The structure of our hairs are different. Asian hair have cuticles with a steeper angle while Caucasian hair have flatter cuticles.
The structure of our hairs are different. Asian hair have cuticles with a steeper angle while Caucasian hair have flatter cuticles.
The distance between cuticle cells is narrower in Asian hair than in Caucasian hair.
Cuticles are the protective “shingles” that guard the inner protein structure of your hair. Typical human hair has 5 to 10 layers of cuticles. Asian hair has more (closer to 10) than Caucasian (which has closer to 5). Asian cuticles are also wider, thicker and more densely packed. When Asian hair is stretched or pulled, the cuticles tend to break off in large pieces that keep their original shape. On the other hand, the cuticles of Caucasian hair tend to break into smaller fragments and fall off.
The cuticles of Asian hair tends to fall off because the adhesive that holds the cuticle cells together fails. In Caucasian hair, the adhesive holds better but the cuticle cell itself starts to break first.
And from my previous post,
"Did you know that Asian hair is actually 1.5 times thicker than Caucasian hair?"
Plus a little history on this hair care brand...
